A re-elected Albanese Labor Government will deliver a new pump track and skate park for Cloncurry, providing a space for young people to come together.
This $1.7 million election commitment will enable the design and construction of a multi-functional recreational space at the Mary Kathleen Memorial Park.
This new space will cater to riders of all skill levels, with dedicated sections for beginners and experienced riders, and will meet international safety and durability standards.
The project will also incorporate landscaping, seating, shade and lighting.
Cloncurry Shire Council and the community have advocated for this project and Federal Labor has listened.
Consistent with past practice, election commitments will be delivered in line with Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.
